Working with drawings in AutoCAD

When ImandrA is integrated with AutoCAD, ImandrA commands for the following most common actions are conveniently accessible from within AutoCAD without having to open ImandrA:

Opening drawings stored in an ImandrA vault

Importing drawings and their external references into an ImandrA vault

Checking in drawings

Saving minor revisions of drawings in an ImandrA vault

Synchronizing drawing title block attributes with ImandrA properties

Inserting blocks, X-Refs, and images stored in an ImandrA vault

Viewing a list of drawing revisions in an ImandrA vault

Canceling the check-out of drawings

Viewing and editing custom properties

Configuring the linking of drawing title block attributes with ImandrA custom properties

Viewing ImandrA integration software version information to aid with troubleshooting

The ImandrA commands within AutoCAD can be found in two places:

On the ImandrA menu as shown in the following figure.

In the ImandrA toolbar as shown in the following figure.

To load the ImandrA menu:

In AutoCAD, right-click in an empty area at the right end of a toolbar row, point to ImandrA, and click Integration. The Integration toolbar will appear, similar to the preceding figure. You can dock the toolbar anywhere you want, like any other AutoCAD toolbar.

Most ImandrA commands can be found in both the menu and the toolbar. The following table lists the ImandrA commands available within AutoCAD and their function.

	Open	Checks out and opens a drawing from the ImandrA vault in one step.
	Import	Imports the current drawing and its external references into the ImandrA vault.
	Check In	Checks in the current drawing to the ImandrA vault, increments the minor revision number, and removes the local workspace file.
	Save	Saves the current document to the ImandrA vault and increments the minor revision number.
	Update Properties	Synchronizes drawing title block attributes with ImandrA custom properties.
None	Insert, Block	Inserts a block selected from an ImandrA vault into the current drawing.
None	Insert, External Reference	Attaches a drawing selected from an ImandrA vault into the current drawing as an external reference.
None	Insert, Raster Image	Attaches a raster image selected from an ImandrA vault into the current drawing as a raster image reference.
None	Revision List	Creates a list of drawing revisions above the title block.
	Cancel CheckOut	Changes the vault status of the drawing to Checked In, and deletes the local workspace file. The revision number is not changed.
	Properties	Displays the current drawing’s custom properties for editing.
None	Tools, Configure KnownBlocks	Allows configuration of the linking of drawing title block attributes with ImandrA custom properties.
None	About	Displays the ImandrA integration version information.
